Derrick Pontier
Derrick Pontier was born and raised in Oregon and Toured with many big name bands, such as Great White, CC Devilles' Samantha 7 and more!
Derrick offers his 30+ years of training & experience to Beginner thru Advanced lessons in Drums. As a traveling Performer, Derrick splits his time between California and New England playing in a multitude of bands and fills in when a group needs a professional drummer. In between performing schedules, Derrick can be found recording Drum Tracks for singers needing to record their own music.
Spending a lot of his free time here at LMI Studio in MA, Derrick takes over the Drum Sessions, especially for those Students looking to take Advanced lessons and techniques. Derrick offers a deep knowledge into the aspects of touring Internationally, from setups, layouts and the issues that can arise on the road and inside clubs & venues. He can also fill in for basic beginner guitar/bass instruction, as needed.
